The Tol’vir have been hiding out in Uldum for thousands of years. They were tasked by the titans to guard Azeroth’s system restore program: the Halls of origination. Azeroth’s enemies would of course love to get hold of this, and they have some great weapons.
The greatest weapon smith in Tol’vir history was Irmaat. Among other great works he learnt how to imbue weapons with elemental power. As the elemental plane of air in Azeroth, Skywall, is close to uldum he mastered the power of wind.
Some of his best works included the scimitars of the 4 wind lords, most of these have since been lost but archaeologists have recently restored the blade of Sirocco. His greatest and final work however was the fists of the heavens.

The dual fists Al’burq and Alra’ed were perfectly forged claws ready to be charged with elemental power. This time Irmaat decided to go all out, they wouldn’t just hold any old elemental’s power; he would use Al’akir himself. Al’akir the windlord is the leader of the Skywall and the most powerful air elemental alive, Irmaat bit off more than he could chew.
When the blacksmith attempted to trap Al’akir, the windlord decided rather than simply crush the little cat he would teach the whole race a lesson. He played along with the empowering ritual, pouring energies into the claws. But he did not put the contained power of a shaman there, he empowered it with pure chaotic wind.
The triumphant Irmaat held his great work aloft and swept the claws down. He expected a flurry of lightning; he got an enormous cascade of wind and lightning. Irmaat was killed instantly, but the windlord’s revenge went further than that. The power surged through the blacksmith’s hometown of Ahmtul, destroying everything and everyone and burying the city.

These claws could make for a very powerful tool against the legion, but who could control that power? Well the main reason the elementals are in chaos is that they have been unbalanced on Azeroth for a very long time. There should be 5 elements, but the fifth was consumed by the world itself near very early on. This fifth element is known to shaman as spirit, and to monks as chi.
The force of chi is a calming and balancing energy, used by monks for their healing mists and their almost impossible acts of martial arts. A true master of the art could be able to calm and control the storm, and unleash it upon the legion.
