Raiding The Emerald Nightmare is nearing completion. We've only Xavius to go and we are poised and ready for a full night of him on Tuesday!

Badger of the Week

The Badger of the Week award is an award given in recognition of being an exceptional Badger (or a Badger who made an epic goof!) in recent times. Voted for by the Guild Officers, the Badger of the Week Award comes with an in game reward and your name in lights on the front page of the website for a week.

Real life has a tendency to get in the way sometimes and when that happens it can really affect the raid team. Guilds like ours rely on the flexibility of members to fill in whenever gaps are made and this week saw us short on healers. Reluctantly, but courageously, Olly stepped forward to volunteer his services on his Shaman alt, Echoe, to ensure our raid progress could continue.

Rewarding people for these sort of selfless acts is exactly what the Badger of the Week Award is all about. Congratulations to Olly (a.k.a. Khafiz, Echoe, Jigsaw), our Badger of the Week!

WARCRAFT NEWS

Quick Join

It's now even easier to find your friends and join them on their adventures through Azeroth with the addition of a Quick Join option.

You’ll be able to quickly and easily see friends who have queued for select eligible content within your Social tab (o) in the “Quick Join” tab. You’ll also be able to recommend others by using /invite to join the group even if they aren’t already friends with the group leader. Additionally, friends won’t need to leave their queue to add you and will receive a join request that they can accept or deny for each additional member.

What content queues will you be able to join your friends for?

• Dungeon Finder

• Raid Finder

• Premade Group Listings (once the friend has joined the group)

• Non-rated Battlegrounds

• Non-rated Arenas

• World PvP such as Ashran

So whether it’s your guildmate, your Battle.net friend, or your Real ID friend, you’ll be able to find each other and take part in a variety of game aspects without the need to ask the age old questions of– “What are you doing?” “Any room in your group?” “Can my other friend join?” You’ll just be able to see all of your friends, see what they’re up to, and ask to join with just a couple of clicks. It’s so easy, a drogbar can do it!

Weekly Bonus Event: Pet Battles

An extra weekly quest and rewards are here— the Pet Battles bonus event is underway!

All week, get out there and fight with your mighty minions. When the time comes to take on other players, open your Pet Journal and hit the “Find Battle” button to be matched up with an opponent whose team is competitive with yours.

Look for the following all week long:

• Archmage Timear near Violet Hold in Dalaran has a quest for you.

• Quest requirement: Win 5 pet battles versus other players with a team of three level-25 pets.

• Reward: One Ultimate Battle-Training Stone.

• Passive bonus: All Pet Battle experience gains are increased by +200%.

Blizzcon

BlizzCon 2016 begins Friday, featuring tons of developer discussion panels, epic esports competition, costume and talent contests, “Weird Al” Yankovic in concert, and more.
